BitComet is a BitTorrent/HTTP/FTP download management software, which is powerful, fast, very easy-to-use, and completely free. It contains many advanced features for BitTorrent download and extends its leading BitTorrent technology to HTTP/FTP to accelerate downloading up to 5 - 10 times faster, or more.

Note on installer: The BitComet installer is automatically set to install a lot of unneccessary software and make various changes to your system settings (e.g. your home page), pay close attention during the installation process, disabling these unneccessary options is highly recommended.

Note on BitComet: The program comes with lots of advertisement and non-BitTorrent related add-ons with no apparent option to disable or uninstall them. This software may also record how you use the software and may send that information to a third party. Though it is a modern BitTorrent client, consider using another BitTorrent client instead -- just check out our BitTorrent downloads category section.
