The owner of the private BitTorrent tracker OiNK, Alan Ellis, has been declared not guilty by the jury. It took the jury only 90 minutes to reach an unanimously decision. Ellis has been accused of conspiracy to defraud the music industry.

Comcast has finally agreed to compensate its customers for actively preventing them from sharing files using BitTorrent. Everyone that is willing to swear that he or she is not a pirate will receive a total of 16 dollars. Analysts are not impressed.
